Downtown Cook-off

Thank You to All Our 2023 Participants!

We are thrilled to announce that our 2023 Downtown Cook-off was a resounding success, thanks to all of you! Your participation helped us jumpstart the Blue-Collar Scholarship, and in 2024, we were proud to award $3,000 in scholarships to two very deserving young men.

This year, we’re aiming even higher! We want to grow the event and award more scholarships to support our local youth. We are now seeking entries for our 2024 Soup, Chili, and Stew Cook-off Contest, where the community will choose the winners.

This Year’s Categories:

1. Professional Category:

   • Open to restaurants, chefs, businesses, non-profit groups, etc.

   • Participants are asked to prepare 6 gallons of their favorite soup, stew, or chili.

2. Friends and Family Category:

   • Perfect for those wanting to join with a small group of friends or family.

   • Participants are asked to prepare 3 gallons of their favorite soup, stew, or chili.

• Date: October 19, 2024

• Time: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

• Location: Main Street, in front of Timeless Events on Main

• Inside Vendors: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (inside Timeless Events)
